Kashmir Comfort
General Agreement

Terms of Service

Please review our operational terms, driver requirements, and cancellation rules prior to booking your trip.

1. Scope of Ground Transportation

Explore Kashmir Comfortably acts as a premium provider of ground transportation, cabs, and customized travel itineraries in Jammu & Kashmir. By using our website, initiating queries, or booking vehicles, you agree to comply with and be bound by these terms.

Our fleet vehicles (Sedans, SUVs, Tempo Travellers, coaches) are commercially certified, clean, and operated by experienced driver guides.

2. Rates and Quotations

All prices generated by website forms or listed on our fleet pages are estimated starting rates and may vary depending on:

  • High tourist seasons (e.g., peak winter snow periods or summer flower seasons).
  • Last-minute itinerary changes or overnight stays requested by the client.
  • Addition of remote offbeat locations demanding specialized high-clearance 4x4 vehicles.

Final customized quotes are confirmed and locked only through direct communications with our booking desk on WhatsApp.

3. Permits & Identity Verification

Kashmir is a frontier border region with high security checks. Clients are strictly required to:

  • Carry valid Government-issued photo ID cards (such as Aadhaar Card or Passport) for all passengers.
  • Provide correct documentation in advance for inner-line permits when traveling to restricted border areas like Gurez Valley or Bangus Valley.

We are not responsible for entry denials by military checkposts if passengers fail to produce original documents.

4. Cancellations and Refunds

We understand that travel plans change, particularly in mountainous terrains. Our refund rules are:

  • 7 Days or more before trip: Full refund of booking advances (excluding dynamic hotel reservation non-refundable fees).
  • 3 to 6 Days before trip: 50% cancellation fee on booking advances.
  • Less than 72 hours before trip: 100% cancellation fee on booking advances.

5. Force Majeure & Local Disruptions

Kashmir is susceptible to sudden weather shifts, landslides (particularly on Jammu-Srinagar NH 44), heavy snowfall blockades, and political lockdowns. Under such conditions (Force Majeure):

  • We reserve the right to modify routes, change vehicles to snow-chain equipped cabs, or adjust itineraries for passenger safety.
  • We cannot be held financially liable for flight cancellations, train delays, or inability to access remote passes due to government closures.

6. Jurisdiction

Any disputes arising out of bookings, driver conduct, or services provided by Explore Kashmir Comfortably shall be governed by the laws of Jammu & Kashmir and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Srinagar.
